This privacy policy explains how Voltix ("we", "us") handles information when you use the website at getvoltix.app. We've kept it short and plain because that reflects how little data we collect.

The calculators don't collect your inputs

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The values you enter - currents, lengths, cable sizes and so on - are processed on your device and are never sent to or stored on our servers.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and how visitors find the site. This collects anonymised, aggregated usage data such as page views, approximate location (country/region), device type and referring site. It does not identify you personally. Analytics is only active when a measurement ID is configured for the site.

Advertising

Some pages display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Advertising is only active when an AdSense publisher ID is configured for the site.

Cookies

Cookies on this site come from the third-party Google services described above (analytics and advertising). We do not set our own tracking cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

The Voltix app

The Voltix mobile app requires no account and collects no personal data. Calculations run offline on your device. Any subscription billing is handled by Google Play under their own privacy terms.

Your rights

Depending on your location (for example under UK/EU GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to certain processing. Because we don't hold personal data beyond the anonymised analytics described above, most requests relate to the third-party services listed here.
